Toronto Trip

Toronto has such an energetic vibe — it feels like every corner has something new to see, eat, or do. Here’s how my three days went.

Day 1

Exploring the City

The first day was all about wandering. I explored the neighborhood around where I was staying, did some casual shopping, and ended up at a festival I didn’t even plan for. The streets were full of food vendors, music, and people dancing. It really set the tone for the trip — spontaneous and fun.

Day 2

Food, Sea Life & Views

This was a packed day. I started by checking out some food spots (Toronto is amazing for international flavors). My favorite was a little tucked-away café with the best lattes. In the afternoon, I went to Ripley’s Aquarium — the jellyfish and shark tunnel are must-sees. I finished at the CN Tower, where the city lights stretched endlessly. Seeing Toronto from above gave me a whole new appreciation for how big and diverse it is.

Day 3

Vintage Finds & Concert Night

Toronto is a thrifter’s paradise, so I couldn’t resist browsing a few shops. I found some one-of-a-kind pieces that I’ll treasure. I also stopped by a grocery store because I love bringing back snacks you can’t find at home. The grand finale? A concert that was pure energy — the perfect send-off for my trip.

Cuba Getaway

My Cuba trip was all about relaxing. I stayed at an all-inclusive hotel, and honestly, it was the perfect escape. Everything was right there: food, drinks, entertainment, and of course, the beach just steps away.

Why All-Inclusive Worked So Well

Unlimited food and drinks: From buffets to poolside snacks, there was always something to try. My favorite was the fresh tropical fruit in the mornings — pineapple, mango, and papaya tasted way sweeter than back home.

Built-in entertainment: Every night, there were shows, live music, or dance performances. It felt like the hotel was its own little world.

Zero stress: No worrying about finding places to eat or planning every detail. Everything was included, so I could just focus on enjoying the trip.

Highlights of the Stay

Relaxing by the pool with endless piña coladas

Morning walks along the beach, when it was almost empty and so peaceful

The best part of an all-inclusive is that balance between rest and adventure. You get to relax completely but also have the option to explore when you feel like it.

Hiking Adventures

Not all adventures require a plane ticket, sometimes the best reset is just outside the city with your friends on a nice sunny day.

Arbraska

If you’re into adventure, Arbraska is such a rush. It’s basically a treetop obstacle course with zip lines, rope bridges, and climbing challenges. It pushes you out of your comfort zone in the best way.

Doncaster River Park

For something calmer, Doncaster River Park is a favorite. The trails follow the river, and it’s the kind of place where you can slow down, take photos, or just sit and listen to the water. It’s especially pretty in the fall when the leaves change.

Other Hiking Spots

I’ve been keeping a little list of local hiking trails, and each one has its own charm. Some are great for a quick morning walk, others for a full-day adventure. Hiking for me isn’t just about exercise. It’s about clearing my head, unplugging, and reconnecting with nature.
